Our Impact
We believe in giving back. In years of prosperity, The Friends of the Forest Foundation invests extra earnings into supporting local charities, with a particular focus on smaller organizations where our contributions can make the greatest difference. By partnering with non-profits, we help strengthen the community and create lasting positive change.
Who We Are
The Friends of the Forest Foundation puts on Austin’s most famous annual city-wide event: Eeyore’s Birthday Party.
Our basic premise: put on a safe, free, and fun all-ages event this year and make enough money to put on a safe, free, and fun all-ages event next year.
We are proud to have been voted Austin’s Best Annual Party for 10 years straight in the Austin Chronicle, and in 1999, Eeyore’s was voted into the Austin Chronicle Readers Poll Hall of Fame.
