Shuttle Bus

The shuttle bus is free and convenient. Accessible buses are available for individuals requiring accommodations.


Shuttle Pickup Location
Free parking is available at the shuttle pickup area near the Texas State Capitol.

  • Buses depart every 10 minutes, starting at 8:00 AM for volunteers, and continue until all guests have left the park.

Important Guidelines

  • No eating or drinking on the buses.
  • No large coolers (small personal coolers are acceptable).
  • No littering.
  • Be respectful and maintain a positive environment for the bus drivers.

Cap Metro

Bus Routes to Pease Park:

  • Route #5 (Lamar): Get off at the MLK stop. Buses run every 30 minutes.
  • Route #18 (MLK): Get off at the W Lynn stop. Buses run every 30 minutes.

Rideshare

If you plan to catch a ride to the park, please use one of the approved drop areas shown in the map below (circled in red).

Bike racks are available at the south end of Pease District Park, near Kingsbury.

Parking Locations

For the Shuttle Bus: We encourage parking in State Garages E and J for easy access to the shuttle.

In General: On the day of the event, there will be signage posted near the capitol to help direct you to parking.
